The 2010 ICRBE was an outstanding show with vendors displaying their wares from all over! A Huge "Thanks" goes out to "RodMaker Magazine" and Tom Kirkman for putting together the best rodbuilding show ever!
Exhibitors ranged from Aftco Mfg Co to Winthrop Roller Guides. We spent many hours conversing with companies such as St Croix, Northfork Composites, Klingspors Woodworking Shop, Mud Hole among countless others. If you've never had a chance to see this show you are really missing out on a great opportunity to enjoy learning and seeing other's craftmanship and technological advances.
Below is Senior Engineer Jason Brunner from St Croix. Jason gave a great presentation on rod blank design and the process in which they get manufactured. Jason has been with St Croix for several years as an engineer.
Gary Loomis, North Fork Composites, took time out of his many conversations with the crowd to chat with Miss Chris and me and share a photo moment. Many of you may remember Gary as one who had something to do with "G-Loomis Rods"...
Here I'm talking with a great wood turner, Morris Schlesinger. One can learn alot from watching this fella!
